The operating temperature range of a hydraulic system directly influences hose lifespan. The hose material must withstand the system’s minimum and maximum temperatures. For example:

  • Synthetic rubber hoses typically operate within -40℃ to 100℃.

  • PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) hoses can handle a broader range, from -60℃ to 200℃.


4. Bending Radius and Flexibility

During installation, the hose’s bending radius should exceed the minimum bending radius to avoid internal wear, aging, or reduced fluid transfer efficiency. Excessive bending may restrict oil flow or even cause system failures. When designing hydraulic systems, minimize hose bends to enhance stability and longevity.
